À beautiful, really interesting book. It's a great help to me as an English woman because it tells the story of Wales in a way that's easy to read. Each page has a short story, poem and picture.

Original and charming. Ssweet without being sugary, gentle without being sappy, a page turner although nothing much happens.

What vile places Victorian boarding schools seem to have been. The casual cynicism, bullying, violence is horrifying.
