"My Uncle told me to always say I'm 17, and insane." (Paraphrasing) Clarisse might be one of the earlier examples of a manic pixie dream girl. She's interesting to Montag only because she's interested in him, which in a world where people are only self interested, fair enough.

The amount of silence they had to go through on Sunday's blew the kiddos mind, she was unable to even. No fun? No play? No laughing? Nothing but sitting still and reading the bible or Cathecism? I'll admit, I'm glad we're a little more lively on Sunday's these days, but she said it might be nice to be tech free, but not FUN free, one day a week.

Picked up from the library, I know very little about what went into Vatican II and even less about this Pope, so I'm hoping this will give me the low down.

It's interesting, but honestly I find myself having to relisten to chunks of it at a time because I get lost in the long exposition.

Finally hit clown at about 36% and Clown + Cornfield at around 50%. This'll make a great film if it ever gets optioned.

So far no Clown in no Cornfield, but it's giving real Scooby Doo vibes with those meddling kids and I'm really expecting the Sheriff to be under the clown mask at the end.

Well written thus far, I could easily see this being optioned for a teen slasher flick.

I'm not sure why this book is such a tredmendous slog. I find myself reading long paragraphs and having to go back and reread because I'm not sure what I just read.

So far not a single likable or even very relatable character. I hate everyone.

Dungeon Crawler Kronk - Would you like to listen to an entire audiobook voiced by what sounds like Kronk and/or Johnny Bravo trying to be as serious as Doom Guy? I know I would. I'm here for it.

Honestly almost DNF because every other page it talks about feminism and the patriarchy, every character is about as far left as you can get with no variation, and then it brought up Covid and I just don't need that my reality in my fiction. But I'm to the "haunting" part so I'm hoping it will get a little bit better. We'll see. I'm giving it one more chance.

Very good thus far, just love Dexter. <3
