finally is picking up pace. to me the first 300 pages were slow and did not have a lot going on but also laid ground work and allowed us to understand characters. too much smut for me right now. also, although it is different characters and events, it is so similar to previous books where instead of feyre being the main character going from nothing to warrior, now its nesta. doesnt feel new or different.

writing the characters perfectly in order to get the reader to favor rhysand more than tamlin, piece by piece letting us in on more information about the plot, but still not there yet.

just finished jack's pov. honestly really sad and put me in a bad mood thinking ab him and reading it. but the end starting to get brighter so hoping that autumn's pov starts to cheer up and become better

just finished reading Finny's perspective. im still just so irritated but i did enjoy reading his side as well and i think it did add more to the story.

im fucking angry and pissed off. bought the second book and i dont even want to read it now lowkey. the whole last 20 minutes are such a whirl wind of shit and am shocked and cant even comprehend it. i dont know what to think. or how to feel other than anger. and devastation. not a happy ending. crazy fucking stupid ahh ending

suuuch a slow burn, i love a slow burn but i feel like its dragged but i also havent dnf'd it yet so cant be too bad. hopping it just starts picking up. writing is definitely less juvenile than before, i think it does rlly reflect autumn's character and age since it is in her perspective

the writing is sort of juvenile
at the moment, not horrible but also not very deep. hoping its just a build up. i liked the opening, so maybe the writing is just going along with the age of the narrator, autumn
