I broke my finger yesterday so maybe I will spend more time reading :)

will I maybe regret finally starting this in the middle of other books? probably, but im very determined to read my physical tbr lately and this one just wouldn't leave my mind.

I'm sorry I started yet another book but I was itching to read in my own language, specifically also in my dialect and even better when it reflects similar culture. Though maybe in the context of this book it makes it even more disturbing.

Finally something remotely good happens, but I know for sure this is going to go bad probably fast and painful

Leave it up to me to be reading like a dozen books at the same time. To be fair I'm actively only reading Demon Copperhead and this, but yeah. Anyway this is so far so good, Im actually having a lot of fun ngl

Smiling through the pain

Considering I just finished one trauma filled book one would think I would start another one right away, but here I am anyway.

10% left, I'm devastated, hopeless and just sad

I'm mad I have been sitting on this one for so long

Crying and begging for this book to rip me away from this god forsaken reading slump, so far so good.

My poor brain is absolutely fried from cramming for 5 exams. I'm about to die, and today I finally, finally!!! was able to read for once, even if it was a couple pages, in the doctor's waiting room, almost fell asleep cause I only slept for less than 3 hours... Lord help me.

I'm reading exceptionally slow cause uni is killing me and also cause every time I start reading this there are like 3 phrases in each page that floors me.

Ok, I got the urge and I don't even know what caused it, this book just popped up in my brain and refused to leave, so I started it.

I always lowkey swore off reading this series, never really felt compelled to read it. After I decided to use some prompts to pick my reads for this month I somehow ended up with this on my tbr and I don't really know how to feel bout it hahaha, wish me luck.

Ok, I totally don't know what the fuck just happened, but I feel terrible for loving every second of it.

I'm devastated.
Also, I know many people don't like this cause Jorg is horrible, but honestly, it has gripped me quite a bit lol.

I was itching for a fantasy, and this has been on my to read list for so long that I bit the bullet and went for it.

I'm not even gonna lie, this wouldn't be half as scary and disgusting to me if botflies weren't actually native to my country and I hadn't heard stories of them since way back when, and well, I had thankfully forgotten all about them until last year when in my insect taxonomy course they came up when we got to the order Diptera, I'm not very fond of them to say the least.

Idk why this book made me wanna try (and most likely fail) scientific illustration once again.

I'm gonna be honest, I never expected that the insect biology and taxonomy course I did last year would come in handy in this way hahahah. I used to really want to do scientific illustration, and illustrating insects is one of the most fun things ever, so this is basically tailored to me.
