Listening to this book right now. The prologue seems very interesting 36:48 min. done with it. opens up with a scene men walking in the snow, had warm themselves up, a fight happens someone gets killed, then desert creatures starts facing this group of men like wolves. Gonna keep listening to it. The author is very descriptive with the scene, setting, and the men in the book. So far I think it is about winter & war..

I didn't like the first story, so will see if it gets better...

I don't like it so far; will see if this changes as I read more of it..

I like the writing style, and it's only the intro.
