I’m listening to the audiobook and it’s fine. I have a bad habit of picking popular books to read, without knowing anything about the genre of the book or anything about the plot. I think if I knew this was fantasy/romance I would not have started it. So far it’s not particularly good fantasy or romance…but I’ll probably hang on (at least until my library borrow time runs out!
