Dystopian & Ancient Rome inspired fantasy with an heavy dose of pyramid scheme world building and a character who *gasp* has morals?!

I want to drop everything else I'm reading and just LIVE SOLELY IN and DEVOUR this book.

At some point you become old enough to love book illustrations again. And this book's illustrations are GORGEOUS!

Chill buddy. You're coming off a little strong. It's just teenage hormones, and you haven't really known her long enough to be pulling out the swoon-worthy romance novel hero lines.

This book is heavily character driven with a meandering plot and I LOVE EVERY MINUTE OF IT!

100% here for the bromance. Could care less about the science. Just don't kill off Rocky!

This book is nostalgically painful... and I think I like it?

Couldn't sleep, so I picked up this free book on my kindle. Romances aren't my genre, and they don't usually keep my interest, so I was hoping it'd help me fall back to sleep.
It didn't work.
Am I sleep deprived or am I actually enjoying this? 😆

I always think this series isn't going to be as good as I remember it, then I pick up the next book and can't. Put. It. Down.

I was wondering if the author had a thing against horses. Turns out, yes. Yes, she does. The acknowledgements explained everything.

Even the characters make fun of their organizations name. I respect that. XD
