Nothing makes me feel dumber than Stephen King’s writing style 😔😔

This book has me in that lethargic and bored but mildly interested state similar to when I’ve been watching back to back episodes of a mid nature documentary for the past 3 hours.

100% there is a deeper narrative but I'm too lazy to figure it out just yet

Bro…..this whole book is self-assured, stubborn rich kids learning that their actions have consequences in the most damaging way possible

Gale is here too much for my liking.

Ok but Pres Snow announcing ‘The Hunger Games: All stars’ season was kinda a slay ngl. Also y is gale still here. Anytime he is mentioned it makes the scene 10x worse

I’m liking the diary style of writing more than I thought I would. However this book is guilt tripping me into being more appreciative of places/things mere existence without having to find deeper meaning in said place/thing.

I am on page 7 and I can already tell that this book is going to confuse me. :/

There is an impending sense of doom as I get closer to finishing this book
