i really honestly don't mind when plots are obvious or predictable. what i do mind is when a predictable plotline is dangled for the vast majority of the story and treated like a jaw-dropping twist. it's just so boring.

bought this enormous paperback for a camping trip. so far it’s genuinely truly bad but i’m having fun.
