Loved every minute of this book. The author wrote the experience beautifly about a farming family experiencing the dustbowl and the struggles they endured

This book felt long, however it could have been bad timing on my part. In the end, I enjoyed this book. the meat is in the last half and i rather enjoyed it in the end. There are twists that I did not expect but I think it was well written.

It was good. A bit sappy for my taste (teenagers are sappy though so I understand why they were so sappy). it was good. an easy read. It had a couple twists that kept me intrigued.
