Finally got this back from the library, had to return it before I was done and wait for someone else's hold! This is the kinda book you can't read on Kindle, even tho I'd much rather...

I'm reading this one in physical form, because I heard it was important for the context of the book to see the various fonts and structuring of the pages. So far so good! It takes a bit to wrap my head around a book about a writing about a book about a movie but it's great so far.

I just can't get into this book, and I wanted to. I'm giving up!

Can't do it. I really tried, I did. But... nope.

Can't get into finishing this one, gonna abandon it.

Finally breaking in my Kindle "New Edition" of Pinto's MASTERPIECE! I'm excited to see what he's changed (if anything, it was pretty perfect before!)

I'm DNF this one. Just not feeling it, and it's taking me a long time to read.

I'm abandoning this one. It's taking me SO long to get through. I appreciate all the things I've learned, from the Vatican to Mary Magdalene (was NOT a whore) and all the secrets in between. This book is like Davinci Code in it's history and facts, which I appreciate. However, it's also like two separate books, the Genetic World theme park side (which I wish there was more of) and the. So... I'm not sure I'll finish this book. It was ok, until this massive ridiculous orgy. Yeah, I said it. I can't believe it was written by a woman since the physicality of this orgy seems pretty impossible! I'll leave the visual at this: one woman, FIVE men. Yep. Imagine away. I like the crazy killer horror house aspect, but I don't like all the sex, especially when it got so... Yeesh.

This book has been super interesting and informative as well as action packed, but the last few chapters have been a giant lecture! It's like Easterling found all this info interesting and wanted to put it in the book but didn't really know how so he just has Francesca talking about it (in full lecture mode) with Sawyer. It's interesting, sure, but getting a bit much. I'm struggling thru it ... Shame!
