A whole lotta talking

Finally back to this after being in a contemporary romance reading slump the last few months. I think the slump is still lingering though and I'm looking forward to being done with this. Still relatively enjoying it though!

Enjoying this so far and see the potential for a great slowburn romance. I'm excited to get to the trial aspect soon as well!

So you're telling me they get to go and train to hone their powers for FOUR MONTHS and we only get to see like 3 pages worth of it??!! WHYYY?! The world building in this series is actually non existent. I hate it here.

You could not pay me to care about Orion and Darcy together. Snore.

Sooo... I said I was going to commit to completing this series before I go back to Zodiac Academy, but I don't think I can do it. The plot in this is practically non-existent, the only relationships are the romances (no fun friendships really so far), it has a "not like other girls" protagonist, and the men are just so obsessed with her that they have no personalities outside of that. So this may be a one and done.

This is whatever the opposite of a slow burn is. I just want to go back to Zodiac Academy but I'm committed to following the "proper" reading order.

I understand the low overall rating for this now. It's getting really weird.

"I've dated A LOT of married men." Okay, freak.

The romance is just SO insta-lust, I hate it here. Pleeaaaasseee let Rey be a love interest. He's wayyyy more interesting.

The writing is tragically bad, but they're cute.

Ughhhh, can we not??

I both want Amber (if that's even her REAL name) to get found out but at the same time I kinda want her to have whatever she wants just due to her sheer DEDICATION to being a weirdo.

Still having a great time, but does this need to be 500+ pages? The plot isn't really doing anything for me.

This is so buzzzy. I was worried I wouldn't like this because I hate when the FMC has had a crush on the MMC and he FINALLY "sees" her, but it's done well here.

This is AWESOME

Pretty sure you’re not supposed to see the same therapist as your partner unless you’re in couples counseling but sure

Everything is just pain and torture and misery and then more pain. Will these two ever be happy again? Damn!

Oh this series is about to have me in a chokehold, I can tell.

I am so zoned out omg
