Phillips deconstruction of religion and his experience of first love.

There’s some racism that kinda zapped me out of the book a bit, hope it won’t be too prevalent throughout.

Seeing more of Phillips flaws developed. His jealous streak and inferiority complex. There is a need to possess those he admires/loves. His perception of his faith is dramatically impacted by viewing his “deformity” as a gift from God and experiences increased passion in faith. Seems to exert his energy unevenly/to the point of exhaustion for himself. Strong codependency vibes from Phillip.

No longer rating books, but will be trying to actually share thoughts on more of them.
