I'm taking my time with this one. It's devastating.

The writing is exquisite, but I'm not sure how I feel about the story. It's a bit cliche and stereotypical so far, which, for me, is offputting. If it wasn't for the beautiful prose, I wouldn't have guessed Flanagan wrote it.

I'm loving this novella.
