This has been excellent since the start. Its dense… like epic high fantasy dense, and its taking me FOREVER to read it, but i’ve just hit 50% and it has just had a plot twist occur that i did not see coming. 🤯 its making me want to go back to the start to see if the clues were there from the beginning.

If it keeps going the way it has since the start, this will be a 5 star read for me.

Enjoying this much better upon a 2nd read through. Literally remember none of it though, so it’s like reading it all again for the first time.

Dare i say it this is shaping up to be one of my favourite books of the year. It’s slow to start, and there’s a lot to process and absorb, but once you get to the 100 page point it really picks up. I’m hoping the rest of the book holds up to the same standard. 😁🙏
