Despite the negative reviews I saw, it did not deter me, and I am thoroughly enjoying the read, being immersed not only in the character and the world at that time, but also in the memories, the language, and the developing worlds being compiled. For me, so far, it's a great read. However, I can see how those used to today's short paragraphing and more contemporary style might find it offputting.

The book was shorter than I imagined but provided an interesting look into Flannery O'Connor's prayer life.

An interesting book, but then I always enjoy books that explore the idea of reading and what it truly means.

Enjoying the read so far, and it's moving at a nice pace.
