Pretty hooked

Wow this book has gotten sooo much better, i can’t wait to find out what happens!!

This book has been helpful to understand how the world’s view of marriage has permeated the Christian’s perceptions of how marriage should look, myself included. We think we are to marry someone who can make us happy and satisfied and not change us, but God intends to use marriage as a means for sanctification, and we should view our differences as a way the Lord can teach us to love someone who is different.

Absolutely love this book so far. I have been convicted, and it’s made me self-reflect quite a bit. And I’ve only read one chapter!

Genuinely, not particularly enjoying this book. Just trying to finish it
