I have a few more pages to go, the last chapter but I want to savor it just a little longer. It is a brilliantly written book of astonishing beauty. Faulkner is one of my favorite writers. I can only imagine the hand of God at his seat with him while writing. Truly a lovely experience to read.

I am in love with this book. I am still reading it and re read some passages and have 1/2 the pages dog earred to look things up to find out more about them. Sally Mann is one of my favorite photographers and now one of my favorite authors. It's way more than a memoir.
