The last two reading sessions were slow, and boring. But in the beginning, I could easily say that this book was better than the first one.

A very important book. The slow picking up of the story, and small minute happenings of the town teaching the reader what life is on the town is beautiful. Very few books achieve this. Principled characters line Atticus and Calpurnia, increase r your love for the book. We all have shared irritation towards aunt Alexandra, dont we?
And the dialogues, you really hear em' ndis' book. Don't ya, suh?

Incredible. Nothing short of brilliance. Some books are uniquely different. This book is at the top of that list.

Unexpectedly grotesque. Its a lot on the dark, evil, ugly side of a town. Not the romanticised horror, like the movies. But real horror. It will make your stomach twist.
The moment a book causes me intense feelings it's a good. Not good as in, "positive good".

Jennifer Niven's writing style is distinct. I can smell the style. It's something that cannot be verbalized but felt.
I really like the jack character. Despite just reading two chapters of his. What I like is that huge messes are something he's used to. There's no OMG I'LL BE BEATEN UP or WHAT HAVE I GOTTEN MYSELF INTO, despite situations being pretty messed up.
"you suffer more in imagination than in reality"

I'm done with the first part, which leads me to agricultural revolution. I was excited for the first part, and Yuval Harari overdelivered. When I talk about this book, people say it's just speculation. But this book doesn't claim anything, but look at all the views, and all the evidence, makes a few logical connections and allows the reader to decide.

This book is so well organized. It has 2 large sections : experiences in the camp and then psychoanalysis and especially logotherapy. It focuses on these innate instinct for our search for meaning in life. And how it translates to our actions and frustrations.
In what way did it help me the most? It helped me understand the inside of my complex friend's even more complex mind.

It the best book of 2019! It is heart touching story and an engaging one. There heart stopping and shocking moments!
