I don’t know who wrote the dialogues but they feel written by a 6 year old. And 6 voices for an audiobook seems confusing - at least right now, in the beginning.

Going pretty fast for an audiobook. Although I feel the book could’ve been shorter.

Highly addictive!

Among the very few that didn’t enjoy the book; i am sorry. Yes, the events are tragic and perhaps the majority of Europeans don’t know anything about it. The style is cold and I couldn’t get attached to any of the characters. The story seems to me too fractured - although I get the idea that the effects of this massacre are long term.

Matt Haig gives normal people hope that they can also write books. But hearing what everyone says while on a plane is a bit exaggerated!

What did I do to deserve reading this in my precious weekend? Ah yeah, throw myself into a goodreads challenge blindly…

I left this book on my nightstand for way too long… love Backman but sometimes the start is so slow and doesn’t match my mood.

I’m reading this book so you don’t. Really. Don’t waste your time with it.

Started the book last night and it seems heartbreaking. The scene with Maggot’s mom when she could hear her newborn crying because of hunger is something I’ll remember for a while.
