Jane Blake is on page 93 of 320 of Ink Ribbon Red
I’m on page 93 and not sure I am going to keep going. It’s not often I give up with a book but I have no idea what this one is going on about.
Always worry if I don’t finish a book though in case it gets better

Jane Blake is reading The Colour of Shadows
This book is YA but I found it very good.
A 17 year old found a family secret that had been kept from her in the attic. Her father couldn’t or wouldn’t talk to her about it so she packed and left and letting them think she was at a friends house but she wasn’t, she was on the street.

Jane Blake is finished with Cassie Scot (Cassie Scot #1)
Cassie is the only one in her family without powers so she decides to open up a normal detective agency but the work she has been asked to do may not be as easy as first thought and also, is Evan Blackwood friend or foe?
Really enjoyed this book and now wanting to read the next one in the series to find out more of what happens as feel left hanging.
Would highly recommend it though

Jane Blake is on page 343 of 368 of Freedom Fighter: My War Against ISIS on the Front Lines of Syria
At the start I found this book very confusing, so many groups, different initials for the names, many different kinds of people that I almost gave up once or twice but really glad that I didn’t.
I have learnt an awful lot about her and others like her and their way of life, what made her want to go and fight and how she felt afterwards.
This is a book I would recommend, just stick with it

Found that this was hard to get going with at first but now it is really getting quite interesting. The writer moved to Denmark when quite young and the way she has to balance the family’s old ways with the life and things that go on In Denmark that we would think is normal is such a huge divide

Jane Blake is reading The Peculiar Peggs of Riddling Woods
Obviously this book isn’t for my age but was asked to review it. It seems to be a good story with both a hint of mystery and magic.
Think the age range would probably be up to 12-13 though older children may still enjoy it.
It hasn’t taken long to read as because of what the age group is it was an easy read.
Worth getting and having a peek yourself

Jane Blake is on page 265 of 416 of Crimson Lake (Crimson Lake, #1)
This was a really good book. Don’t want to give anything away though.
The main character is Ted Conkaffey,a former policeman who was accused of kidnapping and assaulting a young girl, he was let out of prison eventually as was not sufficient evidence that he would be found guilty, this is set in Australia.
He goes away to escape the backlash and is told to team up with Amanda Pharell as private investigators

I really enjoyed this, wasn’t just the normal going on about Princess Diana being crazy etc but showed a real sense of fun and happiness with her, well worth a read
