I can’t really get into this, it feels a bit young so far.

Read the first chapter, don’t hate it so could pick it up again. Needed to make time for festive novels.

There are some beautiful passages in the book but overall the writing style was difficult to slip into. Maybe I’ll go back and read a page or two at a time to appreciate the artistry but also maybe not.

I like it but it is sometimes difficult to follow who is speaking in the audiobook.

I just can’t get into this one. It took me nearly a quarter to realize it’s the same author as The Midnight Library, which I also read and it was fine but I didn’t love it.

I thought I’d be really interested in the story, I like this long-life in the real world idea but I don’t care about the characters and knowing what happens to them.

Life is too short to read books I’m not interested in.

It started out pervy and sexual, which was not at all what I was expecting. After reading a number of reviews it maintains a similar theme throughout so decided not to continue.

Just not super interested in this.

There’s a lot on managing “symptoms” and encourages the use of medication or CBT to lesson emotional reactions.
Talks about learning to make eye contact because it is expected ie. masking - says this is positive for him and that because we live in a neurotypical world it is important to make adjustments for a happier life. True, but masking may not be a positive adjustment for all.
