Her audiobook’s tone is tiresomely upbeat all the time and trying to be cute and “modern” so much.. it’s overly done

The stupidity of our main characters is insufferable. The cheesiness, overly dramatic plots are just…. Driving me crazy.. I still have question like whyyy they just fall in love like that *snap*….All the plots feel very deliberate and arranged, very.. man-made

I’m about to give up… the world setting is interesting. But the romance is kind cringe, cheesy. I just don’t feel any chemistry between Sadie and Crocodile.. Why Crocodile just start LOVING her at instance? They barely have any interaction… characters are kind one dimensional and surface, they are not interesting. Sadie’s personality also frustrates me…
