I'm abandoning this book. Not a great way to start the new reading year. The characters suck. The story doesn't seem to be going anywhere, and I don't care enough to continue. I also did not need a graphic description of labor and C-section.

I'm abandoning this book, because the main character is both annoying and insane. I see no path to redemption for her, and likely means the book is completely pointless, as well.

The formatting of this book on my Kindle is horrendous. It is so distracting that I'm abandoning the book.

Need to make a note while reading this book. There is a stunning lack of communication among our main characters and a number of assumptions made that are causing unnecessary headaches for both. They need to be more direct with each other, which is also a potential life lesson. There are a few too many names to keep track of as well. I'm enjoying it but sometimes get lost in the details.

I may have to abandon this book. I hate the characters - every single one is unlikable, so I don't really care what happens to them. I'm so close yet so far from the end...

This book is taking me forever, but I've invested too much time to not finish it.
