A massive tome that will probably take me years to read, but I’m excited none the less—it is about a period I know absolutely nothing about, and the opportunity to learn new things about unknown things is thrilling.

Information wise, this book is a breezy read through the chronology of the 1918/19 revolution. But man, is it terribly written and edited. He inadvertently implies that the right wing was right about the whole “stab in the back” thing, and I’m guessing that’s not what he is meaning to do!
