I’m trying, because I like the concept of this story and I like the characters, but it’s a slog. It’s moving very slowly, and is in sore need of a better editor. Author never met a comma she didn’t like and would do well to swap several for semicolons or even periods!

Enjoying it so far but really annoyed that a book about librarians would spell the literary detective Spenser's name incorrectly!

The story has potential, but it's so desperately in need of an editor that I don't know if I can finish it. Typos, wrong word choices, and a massive shortage of semicolons.

The longer I read this series, the more depressed I get.

I gave up. I nearly never do that.

This book is embarrassingly bad. It's trying to be Michael Crichton ...and not even achieving Clive Cussler. Honestly not sure why I'm still reading it. Possibly to see how many more wrong and/or offensive things it can say about autism.

I just finished Sixty Days and Counting (Science in the Capital) and gave it 4 stars.

Determined to finish, but it's rough going. This book is terrible.

Not at all sure what I think so far. It's rather convoluted, in a way that doesn't really pull me in.

Wow. Horrifying but engrossing...can't quite believe this book is really going there.

Learning more about the history of pepper trading than I ever imagined..

The kindle edition of this book drives me NUTS. The typesetting is awful. There are places wherethewordsruntogetherlikethis, and there are places where the spaces ar ein thew rong spot. Maddening...

I honestly want to go buy a physical copy of these 2 books - so that I can put colored post-its on each chapter to have a half a chance of figuring out who's where when..... But loving it!

I'm just barely into this one and it's making me so angry by its tone that I'm considering punting the rest...!
