in the book ruby the main character has been there got in an accident after taking an expensive car and then ruby finds an old friend.

ruby takes another bus to the main facility was she finds her friend delirious and her other one that she met at the shop before she went to the camp but then she was kicked out because they thought she and other were useless and then her and a few others make their way to a church and then after getting there ruby leaves the group and goes home to find a message from her dad but her dad is nowhere to be found.

after ruby meeting, a friendly woman she made her way to an evac point and waited for a while then got a ride in a chopper and then had to wait in a line to get into the camp she gets to the front then gets taken in and gets asked question.

Ruby, dairies, and "princess" go to a pickup point to get transported to a military camp but ruby runs away and they call for her and she does not come back leaving the others to go to the camp. as ruby runs off she sees the clouds are getting ready to rain but also finds a rich home stretch and loots it and then starts driving again.

we have our main characters start driving on the high way and see a car pass by then another then they see a car fallow them they drive then pull over to talk. they talk to a family who is going to a military camp to survive and get help.

the main characters rush into a closet after running away from a massacre of death and pain. they stay in there have someone try and open the closet door but they close it. they get emotional. Then the main characters leave and head back to the car and head out.

The main characters drive to a town and find a group of privileged teens with lots of water. They get told where and how to get lots of water and some guys crash in drunk and requesting water but cut the line.

ruby started driving and found the kid from earlier also known as GBK and they drove on to the high way and talked then turned off and ran out of gas and found a greenhouse and slept there for the night and moved all of there stuff there

ruby decided to pack everything up and take the animals and drive but before she left the person who killed Simon shows up and says sorry and asks if he can join but ruby doesn't trust him and drives off.

Ruby lets some prisoners in the jail of a police station and with a school friend then she leaves on her own and lots some stores and start seeing if their people around.

ruby went to her friend's house where she was part of a party to find all of her friends dead. so she moves on with all of there phones and hers and starts going house to house seeing if anybody there and finds some school kids she knew.

in the book, ruby and Simon were robing houses then made it to a mission and finds food and water so they take it all and feed the cat as she grabs a water bottle to water the cat Simon takes it and drinks it all but the water was poisoned rainwater which started killing Simon but before he died he drove home and died on ruby's parents bed then ruby gose to the begnig and find lots of here friends dead.

the main Ruby and Simon were ransacking a supermarket but it started raining and they got stuck in the car till it ended and then got more food and drinkable water.

this time it told me more about the bacteria in the water. Also is a time where she reflects on what happened and who she has left.

she has made it home to her family but was not trusted until the next day so for that day she was put in a room for the night then after she woke up she was left out but after her neighbor died because of the rain.

it has rained a deadly rain and had burned rubies friend and then she go dropped off at her house with her family there.

one thing that has surprised/shocked me so far in the book is that the book is about real events and people says the book.

So far the Americans toke Indian land and gave them land where all the native Americans are going to be put until the government found gold there and tried buying back the land but the natives refused the government takes it back. Then the government made the native's kids go to a harsh school to learn the American way and if they spoke there native langruge there are horrible punishments.

in my book the main character learns the fish he thought lived for 5 years was aculy the 13th gold fish because his mom did not whant him to be sad.
