How do I force all of my loved ones to read Pete Walker’s library? I’m being deadass

It’s that time of year where I force myself to finish all of the bookies I’ve been reading way too slowly for too long. Great books (otherwise I’d DNF) but either emotionally heavy or very information packed.

Trying to fall back into fiction again. From what I’ve seen, this will do the trick.

It’s quite difficult to read this in 2025 during the shameless admission of worldwide tyrannical government. I truly don’t know if I’m going to continue this or not because I can’t help but feel it paints a morbidly accurate picture of our near future.

Romans is a banger so far 🔥

This is def going on the “required reading for humanity” shelf.

The prose is addictive - I feel like I blink and 10 pages have gone by, the language is so engrossing. As a novel seemingly about language, I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised. Loving this style.

Going into this mostly blind - all I know is that it’s dark academia and riddled with “annoying historical references” which is a major positive for me. Let’s go.
