i’m halfway through this and i just don’t understand how this is romance. i feel like there’s zero chemistry between yadriel and julian. i rlly hope it starts picking up soon.

my only real complaint ab this book is the fact that we don’t get to read anything happening in the moment. it’s all jo and kurl just recalling what happened to each other even when the other was there. and after every time they recall what happened between them they always say something along the lines of “idk y i’m writing this u were there” atleast sarah the author is acknowledging how frustratingthat is
