I am so sad that I find this story so boring right now :( So far I don't care about these characters at all. I have a hard time enjoying generic Action/Fantasy scenes. Where is the humor, the worldbuilding, any sort of whimsy? This book might land on my dnf pile for now...

I'm having trouble getting into this story... so far it seems a bit generic...

Listening to the audiobook and restarting a chapter for maybe the 5th time because I can't focus on the story. To be brutally honest: So far this story seems too bland/cosy for me... The leads are too perfect for my tastes and I wish there was more humor and drama because at the moment I'm mostly bored :/ The basic idea for the story is intriguing, the execution is meh...

So far I can't really warm up to the characters. Charlie is still a bit of a douche and Bailey is going along with testing her supposedly best friend's fidelity...yeah, she's a bad friend. The constant dropping of pop culture references that are just thrown in but don't have any further meaning for the story are annoying. A character listening to Taylor Swift is not characterisation.

I feel really old reading this, it's giving such Gen Z vibes with its references (seems to be a trend to quote Taylor Swift songs as well). Charlie already seems terrible to me. So rude and he hates cats - yeah, red flag.

I hope Mr Haywood has a damn good explanation for his behavior...

Ugh... pity party for Mary is getting really repetitive...

Listening to the audiobook and the narrator is doing a great job of making Mary sound like she always speaks with a clenched jaw :D After initially sympathizing with Mary, she is starting to get on my nerves though :/

So far I find the Bunnies much more intriguing than the protagonist and her friend Ava - those two are giving me strong nlog vibes right now...

I wish I could unlearn that this is Dramione fanfiction because now I can't stop seeing it and it's really taking away my enjoyment of this story...The Hogwarts echo is still too strong...Also feel kinda weirded out about this type of rapey fantasy scenario. I cringed hard when Not-Draco sucked the spilled drink from Not-Hermione's chest pretending to abuse her and she's super into it...

Might become a dnf for me.. Listening to the audiobook and I feel like nothing is really happening...

Chapter 3 and nothing has happened so far. Maybe it was a bad idea to pick this up after just finishing something with a very different pace... I am tempted to pick up a different book

First chapter is a bit slow for my taste but I am curious how the story will develop

Listening to the audiobook. Wow why are the characters so shallow and so obsessed with boys and why are all the boys described as super hot without personalities... The reference to reading the Bible took me out of the story for a moment. Feels like such a US American thing for me, in my country only the super religious read the Bible to their children.
