Barbara is on page 200 of 416 of The Demon Lover (Fairwick Chronicles, #1)
I forgot what page but its over 200. This book is really way too long and has too many characters I am not remembering who is who and I am a little bored. I might read the others in the series but not really sure if I will or not at least not right away and not unless I can get them from the library.

Almost done. Its a real slog but that Ed Warren sure did do a lot to make up his storyline despite all the plot holes and what sound like to me contradictions on demons, their power, why they do what they do, god and all that nonsense.

If there is a god or not is not important and according to Ed and Lorraine Warren if you are good you won't get attacked. Its nonsense.

I don't respect science or science professionals anymore. Haven't for a while but the animal experiments they talk about in this book where they painfully shock dogs in cages to break their spirit to study learned helplessness makes me want to kill the scientists. Not a fan. You can't do any branch of science it seems not even physics or space stuff without harming other life. Done being a fan of science.

Really do not like how Kindle books sometimes only have a percentage instead of page count. Not sure why that is on some books and not others.

Bored. Whoever made the ebook didn't do a good job. Can't tell who is talking. The Victorian language also is annoying. Its only 178 or so pages and I am struggling through it like its 500. I can't really recommend it.

Page turner. Engaging. Very easy writing structure so you can read easily. Just enough science to be ineresting but not so sciencey that you have to be a scientist or very knowledeable about the subject. Lots of deep dive points to explore.

Very interesting and reads fast but sometimes hard to understand. I am not sure what the point is.

Barbara is on page 96 of 148 of A Dog Named Christmas (A Dog Named Christmas #1)
"The scent of roasting ham and turkey wove its way down to the barnyard making the swine and fowl nervous."
This is a story about a rescue dog from a poor country shelter and this story seems to be set in the '80's or '90's there is no actual date but it feels like the story is older. This farmer waxes fondly and sadly about dogs but still eats animals.

I am SO GLAD that I tried this book. I am not a YA fan an was disappointed to learn this book was YA. It has all the things I am interested in and white ravens too! There was once a crow in my yard that had a few white feathers on one of its wings. The writing is good, clear, its a fast read, the heroine is not too insufferable like most YA heroines. Hope that this is a series.
