Even though it is a kids book, it's pushing my meager Spanish to its limits lol.

Re reading because I wanted to read the second and can't remember much of the first beyond that I liked it.

The surface story is not what I expected, but the undertone in the second half is. It kind of feels like young Sheldon if young Sheldon was a normie and cared about politics instead of science.

It's super basic, generic, and predictable. Also, the forced lyrical writing makes this tale move soo slow. Reading as audiobook during chores because I could miss an entire 10 minute block and still be in the same scene lol. I don't like it but I prefer simple books over listening to podcast.

It feels great to be reading some good YA again.

Ugh generic and boring book

So far this is the best book I've read this year, the writing is top quality, definitely earns the label of literary fiction!

When people said king suffered, they meant it. Jeez, this man has been through it!

Honestly I've learned more than I thought I would from only reading part 1. This man really did walk the walk, not just talk the talk.
