The story was slow at first but what kept me going was the Sorell’s relatability and her kindness to the cruel world she lived in. The romance was slow in the beginning as well but the story picked up so quickly near the 60% mark. I was on the edge of my seat the last 200 pages. I can’t wait to see what comes next in this series.

I am obsessed and I can only say that about certain books. The ones that are constantly on your mind while you get through the day until you are able to sit down and emerge yourself in the world again. I wasn’t even 50 pages in and I knew this would be a favourite of mine.

Bring a series as complex and creative as Dark Shores to completion is no easy feet yet Danielle does it with finesse. Everything that the characters go through, the triumphs and pitfalls are felt through the storytelling. I’m so sad that the series has ended but Danielle did a fantastic job!
