Every time I think that Melissa Blair has peaked with her books she always manages to top it! Every twist that comes leaves me speechless. I cannot recommend this series enough!!!! This fantasy series is like none other and the whole world needs to read it.

Every time I think I have the story figured out Melissa Blair flings me in a completely different direction. I love this series so much, it’s beyond words! It has me hooked and isn’t letting me go any time soon!

The story was slow at first but what kept me going was the Sorell’s relatability and her kindness to the cruel world she lived in. The romance was slow in the beginning as well but the story picked up so quickly near the 60% mark. I was on the edge of my seat the last 200 pages. I can’t wait to see what comes next in this series.

I am obsessed and I can only say that about certain books. The ones that are constantly on your mind while you get through the day until you are able to sit down and emerge yourself in the world again. I wasn’t even 50 pages in and I knew this would be a favourite of mine.
