I am reading this for my 4th or 5th time through. Elder Zacharias Zacharou is a blessed disciple of Saint Sophrony Sakharov and utilizes the K.I.S.S. rule superbly yet again to the chagrin of armchair theologians.

Gaining this kingdom of the Father's love entails much suffering. (cf. Mt. 11:12; 25-34) The heart is stricken with pain when it realizes the loss suffered by man. I am speaking of Spiritual, metaphysical pain, and would wish my reader to understand me rightly. There is always a certain fluidity in our language : the words are the same but every new experience alters the content of ideas and the meaning they express.
