Second story was a bit bizarre - what kind of birthday surprise is thinking your best friend went missing in a forest and everyone disappears just to show back up like boom this old forest house is yours now! Like what

Beverley’s first adult interaction with Pennywise as her father was the first time I was properly a bit freaked out by this book so huzzah!

What how am I already three quarters through? This feels like I’d be approaching halfway? What is with the pacing of these books. I’m enjoying the planted storylines aspect and political tension in this one

Starting to get a little bit tedious with the ahh yes another creature to fight boom done ahh now another one. But still liking the goofiness and the AI character by far my fave part

LOVED season 1 of the show so it is indeed time to read the book

The middle third of this book EATS, it’s the defining part of the book I always remember back to. But lowkey other parts are a bit boring. Nehemia and Celaena’s relationship is the core and sets up later arcs so well

This is much better paced than the second book but I wish TenSoon did more (and of course missing Zane)
