4 1/2. Really good book.

I loved this book deeply.

Not enjoying it at all. I understand that the subject matter is hard living and she’s trying to show us how impossibly tough it is but it is just such a slog. Maybe I’ll come back to it later. I feel terrible for the characters but I can’t muster up much genuine liking for any of them.
