I feel like Charlotte Stein got annoyed with everyone who whines about how it's impossible to write a truly sexy romance novel with good consent rep and was like fine, you aholes, I'm going to write a whole-ass books that's basically just consent being sexy. Also banger lines like this. "Absolute nudity from the waist up." 😅 I'm having a delightful time.

This book!

I switched from audio to ebook so I could read all the names with my eyes (the audio was great and I will definitely go back to it for a reread). I’m generally not a romantasy reader, but I am tearing through this and may have stayed up until 1:45 am like I’m not the parent of kids the week of Christmas and also Fell with the onyx necklace and the hair references OMG I see where this is going Sophie you genius!

I am loving this and the audiobook is excellent, but I decided I want to switch over to reading with my eyeballs so have to pause until the Libby hold I just placed comes through, whomp whomp. I’m not generally into romantasy but this may change my mind.

DNF'd at 16%

One chapter in and I'm obsessed with this premise!

8% in and already I'm like Alexandra Vasti is so freaking good! Every new sentence makes me giddy.

You know a debut is good when I go searching to see if a second book has been announced when I'm not even half done!

Also, I did not know the author also writes as Scarlett Peckham!

The MMC is so sweet and earnest yet also an adult! The FMC is sarcasm personified in all the best ways! It’s truly humorous!

I am already obsessed with how freaking good this book is!

I’m literally 4 pages in and I can already tell I’m going to love this book.
