This woman knows how to WRITE.

Charcoal Tears was my first ever JW read, and I claimed it as my favorite book ever for years. So many re-reads, so much inspiration.

If it hadn’t been for my discovery of this author, there’s a chance I wouldn’t have ever become an author myself.

Reading her work now feels like an out-of-body experience.

DON’T DISTRACT ME, I’m busy deluding myself into believing I’m reading this for the first time again 💅🏻

First off, I’m someone who is ALWAYS going to classify stories with 18+ MCs as NEW ADULT, not young adult. The content for new adult can cross different lines without being icky, and this one does so gorgeously.

Love the premise, love the writing—and LOOOOOVE the brothers warring over a girl for wildly different reasons 😈

I don’t always *love* short-sentence writers, but it’s REALLY working for this story and the MMC. . . Author knew what he was doing.

Good ole country boy that gets to the point on most everything, but will dwell on the details of nature and its effect on himself. Love it.

Dorian is a little psycho 😏😏😏

Indie is where it’s at, man.

Look away if you don’t care to watch me be full of myself here, because this is one of the best stories ever and there’s genuinely just no other way to put it. I’m enthralled, I’m emotionally attached (of course), I’m eager to continue despite already knowing every. Single. Thing.
