Please tell me it gets better because so far it's not exciting me 🙏😭

I love reading young teen books. Makes me nostalgic.

Okay I'm loving this. I loved the show and had to pick up the book immediately. Ran to the bookstore and got it the same day. And I'm hooked. Idk if the show is accurate to the book or if they published the English translation to be accurate to the show, somehow they got almost all details right which is great.

Sigh. Sometimes you fool yourself. You fool yourself by saying that this other person needs you in their life, needs you to hold it together for them. But the truth is that you're the one who needs them and when they go it's almost like the rug was pulled out from under you. These emotions are very well executed in the book.

I'm really wishing I had a Nora in my life. This girl is coming apart at the seams trying. Imagine having someone who thinks their sole purpose in life is to keep this other person safe, happy and protected. Damn.

So far the only thing this book has done is make me not want kids.

"What I fantasize about is waking up and the space in bed next to me is warm, not cold. Or being at the grocery store and picking out a box of ceren that I know my husband likes. Or coming home after a long day and instead of hearing only silence, hearing him in the kitchen or watching TV, and knowing that I'm not alone. Knowing someone out there cares...about me...and I care about them." 😭😭

Poppy and Alex are like two trains hurtling at each other at top speed. In every conversation I'm watching it happen but I can't do anything about it so it's total collusion. Crazy.

Okay so they're having such big emotions and I know I'm supposed to feel something but I don't know what happened so I'm just like "do y'all want me to leave and close the door?" kinda feeling awkward cuz I'm just third wheeling at this point. For all I know they fought over a cookie! A really nice cookie!

Okay, I'm genuinely confused. When they say 85 degrees in the thermostat I'm assuming it's in Fahrenheit. Which would mean around 29 degrees Celsius. I'm from UAE and 29° is our winter 🤣

What in the ever loving hell actually happened????? This waiting is making me bang my head on a wall.

William and Jessie are hilarious. Him doing everything in his power to try to derail her plans are peak comedy.

I'm unimpressed with myself for not paying better attention to the brand name of Sam's watch. Cuz that battery life is incredible 😂 A+ marketing for the watch.

Me in my head: Lucy just give the man a chance I mean he did find out about your books so clearly the man has his sources. Some good sources at that.
