Can. Not. Finish. The narrator is terrible and I swear to god if they say “Bestemore’s” ONE MORE TIME! It was a great premise but the author got way too bogged down in other bs and we were dragged along too. 👎🏼

May be a dnf. I hate when halfway through a book the authors sneaks in their personal political bias and opinions. Not cool. 👎🏼

Ummmm... NO! Verbose, sanctimonious and chock-full of left-leaning political agenda. 👎🏼 Top it all off with a truly pathetic main character whose inability to have a single independent thought and complete lack of real-world problems simply will not allow my feminist brain to empathize with on any level. DNF

At this point I’m not sure this book could be any worse 🤦🏻‍♀️

Uggghhhh I didn’t realize this was YA. I have to be in the mood for underaged MCs and juvenile writing. Sigh

Every time I listen to a book with this narrator I tell myself, “Never again.” And yet here I am 😑

I am in love with this authors writing style and this book is totally speaking to my soul. I feel like the author read my innermost thoughts as a wife and mother. 🤐

So far this is great! I’m loving the main character and the writing.

I’m confused and kind of bored...

So far I’m obsessed!! I go to bed an hour early just to tear into this one. Excellent and original premise. 😬

I don’t know if I’ll be able to finish this one. Bad writing (where was the editor on this one!?) and very crass - just plain filthy at times!

I’m struggling with this one. The writing is good but I have twins the age of the narrator and as a parent this is just too heartbreaking for me to read much in one sitting. 😢

So far I absolutely love this author’s writing and the premise!!
