I’d forgotten how good this book is.
Love the dynamic between Elspeth and Nightmare. He reminds me of the cat in Nevernight, but with more sass.

I’ve started this last week, but forgot to update here. I’m really enjoying the magic system and the characters, even tho I still don’t have much of a grasp at the MMC. And as a good side-character-lover, I’m absolutely in love with Elm. He’s my bae. Period.

So… the MMC apparently is called Mikhail. From the moment I read that name, it doesn’t matter anymore how this guy is described in the book, I’ll be imagining him as Mikhail from Vampjre Academy tv show (nope, I’m still not over that or him)

Ok TikTok, you got me into reading this. It’s mob related and I’m not really a mob girl (yes Cora Riley, you’re the one to blame for this). Hope to not be disappointed

Enrolei horrores (leia-se dois anos) pra ler esse livro. Por quê? Não sei. O romance é deixado um pouco de lado nesse, com o foco sendo o plot. E uma viagem de Haradis até Saggara nunca demorou tanto 🤡

I definitely wasn’t expecting the plot twist. And when it exploded on my face, I spent 5min just gawking at the wall. For real.

Okay, sooo… I’m enjoying it ‘till now. I was waiting for something more… obscure? More gothic and all. But it’s still nice.

Ok, pelas resenhas, eu sabia que esse livro ia ser 8 ou 80. Mas, poxa, eu não queria ficar no 8.
Não tem absolutamente NADA que te faça se apegar aos personagens. Tinha gente morrendo e eu tipo: foda-se??? A autora não se deu sequer ao trabalho de dar uma personalidade pros coitados antes de mandar eles penhasco à baixo.
Mesma coisa com o Xanden. A personalidade dele é chamar a Violet de Violence 🤡

Os primeiros capítulos foram um pouco arrastados, já que muitos foram mais para introdução dos personagens e da Hermione como protagonista. Agora a leitura já está fluindo, principalmente com as interações entre Herms e Draco e Herms e Scorpius (meu nenê)

Hermione e Fred não são meu casal de conforto (pode entrar Severus e Hermione), mas tá sendo incrivelmente gostoso ler sobre eles. A relação de amizade deles é extremamente natural e bem construída, e tenho certeza que o romance vai ser da mesma forma (ainda não cheguei lá, depois a “eu” do futuro volta pra confirmar). Enfim, tá perfeito até agora (entrando em cálice de fogo).
