Another read aloud with S & J. So grateful for the time we live in and the efforts of men and women throughout history to make medicine what it is today - the ups and downs.

Another journey through this book. Definitely some parts are a big miss on understanding Christ and Christianity. Understanding the Roman world, the rising tensions, and the people of the time is so interesting and helpful in contextualizing the coming of our Lord.

A story of vengeance and redemption, love and family. I am really enjoying this audio recording Mark Smith on LibriVox.

I just really like these stories. lol I can’t stay away really. This one has me really perplexed though.

Whew! I don’t actually know how this is all going to unfold but I’m anxious already. Some of these descriptions are so beautifully written. I need to go back and copy these down.

Really enjoying listening to this book! I will say, studying Rome with S&J helps me understand so much more of it though.

I need to finish this one now.

My current audiobook for our studies in Rome.
