Wow! I’m also so cold at the thought of that much snow piling around me. I made it through The Council of Elrond (all 2 hours!) to come away realizing THEY DIDNT EVEN FORM THE FELLOWSHIP THERE! And later when they did disperse, the group of 9, I don’t recall him using the phrase “the fellowship” either. So now I need to go thumb through the physical book and reread a few parts lol

My first time through these books. Andy Serkis is narrating and taking me through Middle Earth. What an amazing journey. I am simply obsessed. I thought maybe I’d like it. But I actually, truly love it so far!

Second time reading this with the kids. And I still enjoy it quite a bit. I don’t have time or brain space for Homer but Padraic Colum writes a wonderful version for all (without all the gore lol)
