So far I am disappointed. This book is praised for its original take on gender. Sadly so far the gender issue is information dumped in a chapter written by a foreign observer and so far has 0 influence on the plot, which seems to be a very tell-don’t-show link of bureaucratic events. I also would have expected someone so gifted as Le Guin to come up with new pronouns for the residents of Gethen instead of he/Lord
