Can't. Stop. Reading.

Still pretty early in the story, but gods, do I love this premise so much more than I thought I would! I'm loving Khoury's writing -- I can tell it's grown a lot since her Origin books. I never thought Aladdin could ever become even *more* endearing of a character, but she's somehow done it over the course of 20 pages...

Re-started this after a friend praised it earlier today, and I'm really loving where it's going -- I heard there's some unbelievable twist to it so I'm gladly along for the ride. :3

Finally got back to reading this thing. Started it again from the beginning. Loving it.

*wipes away a couple of tears* I can't describe to you how much I am loving this book right now. Goodness.

A brand-spanking-new hardcover copy arrived in the mail yesterday! I'm barely 50 pages in and this is already a great candidate for my latest favorite book. Goodness, I'm already so in love with Ahdieh's storytelling.

This is already very different from what I thought it would be. I'm not entirely certain if I like where it looks to be going right now, but then again, this seems like the kind of novel that'll keep you on your toes.

Definitely intriguing. Only on page 20 at this point, though, so I can't particularly speak about any kind of character development yet.

So, Marie Lu's praise for this book - calling it one of the most "achingly beautiful things I've ever read" - definitely made me look at this book a little differently. Already, after the first couple of chapters, I feel like I'm going to be falling in love with these people and these words. I *may* save this for the summer when I won't be as busy. Either way I'm excited for this thing.

I FINALLY bought this book after, what, years of not having finished this? It's friggin' 2015! I'm gonna re-read a lot of what I've already read and then pick up right where I left off. I love this book a lot. So glad I have the time now to actually finish it!

OKAY, WHA? This book just got like 100000x better. I'm loving this writing style, I'm loving these stakes.... I repeat: WHA? Great turns in this thing. oh my gosh.

This book is definitely not what I expected it to be, and in a good way. Just realized I'm not even halfway through yet, so there ought to be something awesome waiting for me in a couple more hundred pages!

Definitely an enjoyable read thus far! I do hope the predictions I'm making are wrong, though. I'm all for thoroughly unpredictable reads.
