Took much more than 150 pages to get in this book.
So many useless descriptions and details.
Then the story slowly picks up.
I guess it is worth reading for the complexity of the characters and their psychology. But I don't wonder if the story wouldn't have been as powerful with 1/4 of pages less.

Fantastic novels which spawns multiple generations, and their ties to Korea and Japan

After reading 250 pages, I give up.
I feel like I am in a revisited version of "Le rouge et le noir" (which I was forced to read in high school), where both heroes ponder their sentiment about a person they barely know and that they were somehow tricked into liking.

I couldn't finish this book.
I painfully got to p 280 and decided that life's just way too short to continue a book that has, in my personal opinion, no plot, no objective and no interest
Based on other readers' review, I feel like I totally missed something though...
