Horrible story ~ Very upsetting. ~ Never understood the meaning of November 11th before. I do now. I cannot imagine the horror both sides had to live with on that day so many years ago. 11th hour, 11th day, 11th month. The horrors of war and sending men off to fight them! Someone else decision :(

Still plugging away at this! She is a very popular author but honestly? It is putting me sleep so I am not getting through it too quickly. Maybe I should try reading it during the day when I need a nap!

Just started with a chuckle. If you don't speak "Newfie" may be a bit hard to understand. Reminds me so much of my Mom and her lineage :)

Oh boy...it's a big one!

Excited to start this one by the author of The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. Off to cut the grass though so the beginning will have to wait :)

Needed a nice easy read by an author I like so going through these one by one :) Darn the library! They had the 3 available so I checked out the next 2 LOL

Reading this again for the second time. It upsets me so much though that I can only read it a few chapters at a time. It deals with racial discrimination and in this case predominantly in the US.

Read a book about London they said! Read a book by a Contemporary London author they said! Well they neglected to say it was about the worst Ontario serial killer & Canada's most dangerous criminal. Hmmm! More than half way through and will continue.

Didn't realize it was a romance...gag but getting through it pretty quick!

Giving it another go! I was too busy last time and had borrowed this book from the library so checked it out again. Not due until January so I should be good :)
