The scene towards the end of the chapter felt a bit cringy and cliché but still cute lol

I love how frankenstein tells his story of how he learned things. It makes me see things in a different perspective, like how he thought the people who lived in poverty were living well and couldn’t understand why they were sad. I find it cute how he helps the people with gathering firewood and other small things he can help them with

I’m also beginning to really like mary shelley’s writing style

I kind of like it?? I really didn’t expect to like it because i always hate the books i read in school lmao. It was kind of boring in the beginning (like the first 35 pages so i shouldn’t really have judged it already) but it has become really interesting now so i’m actually kind of excited to see what happens next
