A good combination between information about useful things to implement in one's memory techniques and a great story on the author's journey. The narrative was always compelling, I liked the unique take on writing, it could've had just been a recollection on facts and stories, but it is so much more. A great story with a great introduction, development andーif I'm allowed to expressー a touching, funny closure.

I loved the insight and the histlry about Pixar, more a complex and deep book than a self-help kind of thing, but the lack of simplicity to make for arguments was compensated with a surplus of engaging anecdotes, stories. Also at the end the notes were super helpful as a summary. The book overflows with emotions.

Amazing characters. They're in very much control of the crises they face, but you still find yourself in awe when the tables turn and the plots twist. The writing is great and it's very interesting. Jawdropping usually. It also presents a beautiful analogy to what civilization is. From barbarism to religion to economy. This is how you organize people.

The characters in this book are way too surprising, they feel like they're in inevitable control of the crises they face, you find yourself in awe anyway, every time they get away with their plans, because you didn't expect how they were going to do it. The twists in the story are unpredictable and great. This is gold.

This book had me in awe for the facts it presented and the analysis it did based on them, for the whole duration of the book. I feel humanity has been stupid, genius, evil, generous, everything altogether. Now there's a big chance everything as we know it will crumble and/or evolve. For good or bad.
