Ce livre est dans ma bibliothèque depuis genre 2022. Je SAIS que c'est un banger. Il est temps.

Quand tu te rappelles que tu dois rendre les livres à la médiathèque...

Listening to it while driving. It's giving "I'm glad my mother died" and boy, it's not a good look for the mother...

Le livre parfait pour la rentrée car il porte le souvenir de l'été sans sa canicule x)

Bit confused, it's not really horror ? Just, kinda sad ?

Slowly but surely working my way through this nerdy boy

Back in the audiobook game with some light sapphic horror ✨️

Bookclub pick !
Here's to hoping I'm smart enough for this big boy 🤞🏽

If I had a penny for every book I've read because Samantha Shannon liked it, I would have loads of pennies...

I did giggle and kick my feet...

Still a page turner, although a bit disappointed that there's nothing truly interesting in the narrative structure, aside from a non linear timeline, alternating between the tragic thing happening in 1984 a'd what led to it since 1980.

Yup, that's the stuff, AHB never disappoints. It reads like a ff every time, and i mean it in the best of ways.

Oui.

Lesbian pirate. Need I say more ?

It's giving The Half of It minus the poetic softness of the movie :/

Is solar punk making me enjoy sci-fi ? 🙄

Quand ta coloc te convainc de lire de la SF avec deux mots : épistolaire, gay...

I could've finished this in one sitting if i didn't remember i have school tomorrow. Being the teacher truly sucks.

I'm weak, sue me.

Yeah, yeah, i'm a basic bitch, i know. But what can I say ? It felt like my queer duty to watch the show, and now it feels like my bookworm duty to read the damn book.

Still a banger, thx gods
It's not groundbreaking, it's not opening new literary horizons, but it still slays

Damn, I'm hooked again. My life for Harry's.

Rereading this book is a bit scary, i loved it so much the first time around. I'm already noting that the experience of the physical copy is different from the audio format, less immersive. The narrator of the audiobook was great at translating Evelyn's charsima, my inner voice is a bit lacking for now x)

Si j'avais une pièce à chaque fois que je trouvais un livre de St Exupéry dans une boîte à livre sur une plage en Normandie, j'aurais deux pièces.
