i really want to like this but it's not going too well 😭

I've been waiting for this book all year and now that I'm finally reading it feels just just as comfy and happy as a cup of tea does on a rainy afternoon

got this arc but i am just hate reading atp - the mmc is an assh0le who needs an innocent, pure, extremely rich wife because his debts are taking over his life and he can't live off his friends' charity anymore. this whole thing feels like misogyny in a book trying to convince me this is actually a love story

this is such a beautiful book, im kinda exhilarated about the amount of times i've teared up reading it

reading emily henry's books is like being hugged when you're touch-starved

Oh this is already so intriguing

the writing is good but this feels unnecessarily long for the plot it has

it's honestly insane that I could be reading 40 chapters of incredible, magical, gripping work of fiction and won't be able to add it to my goodreads goal because it's "fanfiction"

Viv is actually insufferable most of the time

i so enraptured by this book

this book is unnecessarily long and dreadfully dull

it's never too early to start reading holiday books

im really enjoying this so far

i just need to accept certain characters are not for me

well, my expectations have lowered

oh that prologue got me immediately HOOKED

i truly believe carissa broadbent should get more recognition because her books are always original, her characters are amazing and i just love her stories
